Some photos

Been a long time between posts. I am going to work on that. In the meantime I am posting some photos from this last December that I never got around to posting.

Here is Elizabeth with her friend Keira who invited her over to make some Christmas cookie trains.

And here is a photo that Keira's dad had taken at Elizabeth's fourth birthday extravaganza.

Practicing Tap Dance

So I finally have figured out how to get some video onto the blog! Hooray. The problem is that I am lost in the sea of technology and a backlog of videos. I really haven't taken that many over the last year but the ones I did take need to be reworked so that they can play on the blog.

Here is the little lady deep into practice for her recital in June. This is one of the tap numbers she is practicing for.

You probably would be better off watching it without sound since all you really hear are the parents sitting behind the glass chatting away.

E at Pretend City

Here is Elizabeth on afternoon at Pretend City. We went at 3 oclock for an hour before it closed and there was NO ONE there. Quite a contrast to the usual times there when you feel as if you are trapped in a NYC subway with 3,000 kids.

VIDEO0088

Here she us running like a looney tune, as only a four year can. You may notice a little shamrock on her face--yes it was St. Patrick's Day!
And you will notice Marty in his wildly green jacket--which I only allow him to wear on St. Paddy's day.

A medley of photos

Here are a few more photos that I had in the photo files. Gee, I only have about 2,000 other photos that I have never posted.

Here she is practicing her ballet at her dancing class at school. She attends two different dancing classes. This one is a little less "serious" than her Saturday class. Her Saturday dancing class is taught by a professional dancer who used to tour with Michael Jackson--and he takes the work VERY seriously. Currently they are rehearsing for a recital that happens on June 18th. Let me know if you want a ticket and we'll gladly see you get one. It should be fun. I'll make sure to post photos of that one and hopefully I will get the video up and running by then.

Elizabeth trying to decide which sort of candy to buy. One of life's tougher decisons.

And here she is riding in the shopping cart at the market--something she loves to do. She is, however, aware that she is already five pounds over the 35 pound posted weight limit. I guess she is learning early try and fudge on her weight.

Here she is with football in hand.
