Blow drying her hair is one of Elizabeth's favorite things to do. Actually her more favorite thing to do is to blow dry mommy's hair--which she is especially fond of doing when mommy is in a hurry. You can imagine how those mornings go.

Working at the Car Wash...
So, if Elizabeth career as a Professor doesn't work out....there is always the car wash. As you can see she has obvious talent.
A new kind of lecture....
Here is a little video of Elizabeth performing in Marty's lecture hall. And who said the quality of education was going done.

Performing
If you think all of that performing hasn't affected Elizabeth--here she is on a recent trip over to "daddy's school" where she used her daddy's influence to break into a lecture hall where she took over and performed one of her latest numbers. You could say she was "in all her glory."

And for those who couldn't afford tickets, she took her act outside.

And here she is posing next to UCI's bizarre mascot-the anteater. Yep...some school may have tigers or rams or other more stately symbols. What does UCI choose-an anteater.

Recital
So Elizabeth did it. She performed beautifully for her recital on June 18th. Yes, every Saturday since last July we have been showing up for Tap/Ballet lessons and all of her hard work paid off.
Elizabeth was in her glory. She beamed with pride when presented with her trophy. The girls danced to "Lollipop, Lollipop" for the tap number and "Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down" for their ballet routine.
Elizabeth made sure to tell me that she was "concentrating" on her dancing so that she didn't miss any of the steps.
And luckily she realizes that the makeup deal is only once a year--well, maybe twice counting halloween.
If you weren't there, we wish you were. Elizabeth was a sight to behold.

Happy Fourth

Happy Fourth of July
Okay so I am a few days late in my 4th of July greeting. Actually I have been late in posting so many things but I am committed to getting photos up sometime this week.
Elizabeth loved July 4th. Actually she loves all the holidays. If there is a holiday to celebrate-she's there. And if it involves balloons, say no more.
