Gingerbread House Decorating...with the French Chef

So Sunday Elizabeth had the pleasure of being mentored by one of the finest French pastry chefs in California. The Pastry Chef at Pelican Hill held an amazing class on Gingerbread House decorating for little ones.

She loved every minute of it. And then there was the surprise visit from Santa. More on that one later.

And as you can see Grandma stopped by for lunch...how fun.

Cap Day at School

Here are some photos from Elizabeth's Cap day at school Yes, she is still working on that modeling contract.

Here she is washing up before class starts. Every morning she goes to check and see what job she has, (yesterday she was the electrician--responsible for turning the lights on and off) then she washes her hands before starting the school day at 9:00.

Elizabeth and a few of her classmates coloring . Class starts at 9 am but if you get there a little early you can play a few games or color.

A couple of photos of the classroom. I will have to get more photos later...and will have to grab some photos of her teachers.

Halloween and Halloween....and Halloween

So Halloween may well qualify as Elizabeth's favorite holiday--well, that is until the next one comes along. But, suffice to say, she LOVES Halloween. And who can blame her-parties, candy, costumes, games and friends.

Here she is at her dance class Halloween show. They practiced dancing to "Casper the Friendly Ghost" for a few weeks and then put on a show in their Halloween costumes. As you might imagine they had a great time. I will try to get a video up of the show.

And here you see her in her Princess Ariel costume. Elizabeth WAS in love with her costume until she saw her friend Elle, who donned a stunning Rapunzel costume--which, of course, Elizabeth has already asked Santa Claus for. Yeah, she is lobbying hard for that costume. It was pretty cool.

So you will see here in these photos a lot of the reasons Elizabeth loves Halloween, and I still haven't posted the photos from the school Halloween party or the party at Mei Mei's house.

Girls do "just want to have fun."

So on Halloween night, we headed over to Grandma's house for trick or treating. Emma and Elizabeth met up with one of Elizabeth's friends from school, Kailer and they headed out into the night for some serious candy gathering. They had a lot of fun, but after about 20 minutes of knocking on doors, they were all pretty intent on heading back and checking out the candy goods.

They had a terrific time.

And here is Grandma, all dolled up like the Good witch.
