Chinese New Year

It has been well over a month now but Elizabeth did have a fun time with her buddies, Megan, Emma, Maria and Kaila at this year's Chinese New Year party. Gung Hay Fat Choy. Or something like that.

Elizabeth attended her schoolmate Maile's 5th birthday party and the special guest was Princess Belle. As you might imagine Elizabeth was thrilled with the appearance of the princess and managed to not leave her side throught most of the event. She also marveled at the face painter, but she and I decided that an arm painting would be less messy--especially since Elizabeth's last encounter with a face painter who left glitter on her forehead that wound up in her eye. This face painter was quite talented and managed a rather spectacular unicorn painting....

Friendship

So here are Emma and Elizabeth having spending the day having tea and then ice cream...or sorbet as Elizabeth would say. It was such a nice day down in San Juan Capistrano where the girls met up to have a girls day out...fun fun.

So....it was over a month ago that I said I had more photos to post from Elizabeth's birthday soiree and here it is March and I am just doing it. Yes, we have about 10,587 photos of Elizabeth and her journeys that have yet to be posted. Marty says that it would take about 2 years to view all the photos and videos I have taken over the last 4 years. I still have to post photos of our mini vacation to San Diego last August...among about 1,000 other things. Here are a few more photos of the party...and hopefully in the next week or two I will be able to get all the photos and all the words on the blog that I have been wanting to for the last year or so!
