Dance Recital

Elizabeth was amazing in her dance recital this year. She was focused and graceful and a joy to watch. She really takes her dance, and pretty much whatever she involves herself in, pretty seriously. She had to miss the dress rehearsal owing to a schedule conflict with her Preschool Graduation (yes, this girl is busy) so I was wondering if she might miss a step or two. She assured me that she had her routine down, and right she was.

We had lunch after the show with some dear friends (who were more than happy to sit through 25 other dancers before Elizbabeth came on stage!-they save the best for last, right?)

Elizabeth got herself all primped and ready for her recital photos...these were taken the week before her actual recital but we had to have her dressed for the professional photos. She and her buddy Ellie pose for a photo

Fancy dresses and gumballs

So every week after dancing class..Elizabeth hits Ellie's mom up for a quarter to get gumballs (actually Ellie offers it) and the girls scurry down to the gumball machine. This week lent itself to a particularly cute photo of the girls "all dolled up" in their recital finery.

Here is Elizabeth with Sandra. Sandra came to help us when Elizabeth was just about 18 months old and now here it is four years later. We are so glad that Sandra has kept in touch and still gets to spend time with Eilzabeth. And Elizabeth loves it...and loves Sandra too.
