Okay so you may have seen some of these photos back in June when Elizabeth actually had her dance recital. And gee, it is only October and I finally got around to posting these- and she already well onto a new form of dance with a new dance troupe.
Yes, she joined a new contemporary jazz dance group that is so stinkin' cute you can't even believe it. More photos on that to come.

It has been a while since I have posted...and yes, there has been lots going on and lots to say. And yes, Elizabeth has been learning and growing and turning into quite a little lady.
I have lots more to say but I figured I would just share this group of photos. It seems as if yesterday Elizabeth was a little 10 month old baby and now she is this amazing little girl. I love all of these photos and isn't it something to see her with all of her Chinese "sisters'. How cute are they!

Another Superhero party
Last month Elizabeth attended her buddy Kailer's 6th birthday party. And what a party it was. A superhero party like none I have ever seen. There were five superheros in attendance. Yes five.
Elizabeth was thrilled with the idea of Wonder Woman (so much so that she has decided that she will have a Wonder Woman birthday party next year). Not so thrilled was she once Iron Man and Spider Man showed up. Once she took a look at Spider Man she didn't leave my side for the length of the party.
It seems she has shifted attention from princesses to Super Heros-at least the girl super heros for now. Her Wonder Woman costume is on it's way.

The" 2nd" First Day of Kindergarten
So, after much deliberation we actually made a switch and Elizabeth started her "new" school a few weeks ago. Yes, I haven't posted much because this has been one doozy of a month with all sorts of transitions and adjustments.
Elizabeth seems to like her new school (she also liked her old school) and is adjusting quite well. Much better, in fact, than her mama. One of the most salient differences is the time factor. Her original kindergarten class was from 10-1:15. Her new kindergarten hours are from 8-3. Say what? Yes, 8-3. That is what has been a major adjustment for all of us. Elizabeth seems to love it when she is there but I can tell you she is one tired girl when she gets home. By Friday she is ready for the weekend.
If you have been around me at all this last month you know that the deliberations and diffcultly regarding the decision about kindergarten has been intense. I could write much more about it but I will save that for another time.
The good news is that Elizabeth loves her new school and her classmates.
More later.
Elizabeth also made sure to take her "lambie" and "stuffy" toys to school the first day. In fact Lambie has been attending school with her everyday.
Elizabeth with her "new" teacher.
Here she is with Miss "Elizabeth" . Everyone calls her Miss Liz but Elizabeth has decided that she is Miss Elizabeth to her. Fine by me. If no one ever calls Elizabeth, Liz or heaven forbid, Lizzy-I will be happy. Glad Elizabeth feels the same way.
Elizabeth really loves her uniform. I, on the other hand, really miss her cute little outfits every day-but I think Elizabeth loves feeling like a "big girl" and I think she gets a kick out of the fact that all her buddies are wearing the same clothes. And yes, the uniform does make her look quite mature.
